Regenerated Cellulose Fiber Modal

The difference between Modal fiber and ordinary viscose fiber is that Modal fiber improves the shortcomings of low strength and low modulus of ordinary viscose fiber in the wetting state, and also has higher strength and modulus in the wetting state, so it is often called high wet modulus viscose fiber.

Modal fibers inner and outer layer structure is more uniform, the fiber cross section of the skin core layer structure is not obvious than the ordinary viscose fiber, the cross section shape tends to be round or waist round, the longitudinal smooth, wet state has higher strength and modulus, excellent moisture absorption performance.

Modal fiber feels soft, the fabric feels particularly smooth, the cloth surface is shiny and bright, the overhang is better than the existing cotton, polyester, viscotic fiber, with the strength and toughness of synthetic fiber, as well as the silk luster and feel. Its fabric has anti-wrinkle and non-ironing properties, good water absorption and air permeability. However, the fabric has poor crisp, and blending with other fibers can improve the poor crisp of pure Modal products.
