Eco-friendly Fiber Modal

Modal fiber is known for its good softness and excellent moisture absorption, especially when compared to cotton, it is able to provide better drdrability and gloss on the fabric. Due to the poor crispness of its fabric, Modal fibers are commonly used in underwear and other clothing that requires good softness.

In addition, Modal fiber also has strong mechanical properties, such as high dry and wet strength values, which makes it perform well when blended with other fibers. Modal fibers can be interwoven with other types of fiber yarns to weave different types and styles of fabrics, including but not limited to blended fabrics and silk-like fabrics.

It is worth mentioning that Modal is also an environmentally friendly fiber, as its raw material source is mainly sustainable wood resources. Modal fiber is therefore considered a semi-synthetic fiber between natural fiber and synthetic fiber, which combines the advantages of both while maintaining a minimal impact on the environment.
